Faisalabad is the third most populous city of the Pakistan, previously known as “Lyallpur”. Gumti Water Fountain:

The Gumti Water Fountain has been the most visited monument in Faisalabad for many years. This fountain was built in early nineteenth century and initially, it was a general meeting place for local town meetings. However, nowadays this fountain is still working at its exact location by giving a round corner to the road and it is been a cause of great attention for the locals and foreign tourists.

Clock Tower:

The Faisalabad Clock Tower is mostly referred as “Ghanta Ghar”. it is also a very famous place of Pakistan and is one of the primogenital monuments still standing in its original location from the period of the British rule. It was built for the memory of British rule during the nineteenth century. It is situated in the older part of the metropolitan. The clock is placed at the center of the eight markets that depicts like a Union Jack flag of the United Kingdom.

Industrial importance of Faisalabad:

Faisalabad is a famous producer of phosphates, cotton and silk textiles, hosiery, rinses, industrial chemicals, drinks, fabrics, and paper, printing, agricultural equipment, and ghee. Do you know why Faisalabad is known as Manchester?
